Location. Built in 1872, the grand, ornate Hotel Kummer is situated two kilometres from Vienna city centre at Stephansplatz, the mid point of two kilometres of shops, restaurants, and caf�s lining Mariahilfer Strasse. Vienna International Airport is 25 kilometres from the hotel.
Hotel Features. Hotel Kummer offers guests a sense of Vienna's ornate style in the 19th and early 20th centuries. The lobby includes brass chandeliers, walls with marble insets and hand painted accents, and brocade seating. Rising from the lobby through five storeys is a grand staircase topped by a stained glass skylight that is illuminated at night. With classical music playing in the background and crystal chandeliers overhead, guests can relax in the lounge, where complimentary wireless Internet access and newspapers are provided.
Hotel Kummer Restaurant features crystal chandeliers and light fixtures, red carpets, pale gold walls, antique gold drapes, and fresh flowers, and serves Viennese and international fare for lunch and dinner.

A taxi costs approximately 38 EUR. Buses go from the airport to Westbahnhof railway station, which is 600 metres from the hotel and where there is an underground (U Bahn) station. From there, the underground connects to Neubaugasse station in front of the hotel. Buses also go from the airport to the downtown City Air Terminal, where the underground connects to Neubaugasse station. Vienna's other railway station is S�dbahnhof, where the underground connects to Neubaugasse station.
