The resort is miles away from the stress of the everyday, but conveniently close to a variety of water activities and the nightlife and restaurants of Saint Lawrence Gap. The beckoning greens of the Barbados Golf Club are nearby, and the club offers resort guests discounted greens fees and preferred tee times.
Bougainvillea Beach Resort is a seven building facility boasting a bright, Caribbean tropical style d�cor. Guests are invited to enjoy one of three pools, tennis courts and a modern fitness center. Complimentary use of non motorized watersports equipment including kayaks, snorkel gear and boogie boards is offered. The family friendly resort offers supervised children's activities such as arts and crafts, movies and beach games. A playroom is available for younger children, and older teens are sure to gravitate to the game room.
Lantern's By the Sea is the resort's open air beachside restaurant, with an a la carte menu featuring local and international cuisine. Open for dinner, the Water's Edge offers fine Caribbean cuisine. The resort also features a poolside bar for light snacks and beverages.
The 138 guest suites are decorated in shades of gold, rose and ivory and are stocked with lush tropical plants. Each guest suite features a full or mini kitchen, oversized bathroom, and private balcony overlooking the ocean, pool or gardens. Note: There will be construction to the adjacent property beginning January 6, 2006, from 9 a.m to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Renovation Notice:
The hotel's Lanterns by the Sea restaurant is scheduled to be closed for renovations from November 12 December 3, 2007. These dates are subject to change. The hotel's Water's Edge Restaurant remains open.
