Location. The Poseidon Hotel is located in Kos Town, on the island of Kos, Greece, within 200 metres of the beach, 200 metres from the shops and restaurants in the marina, and one kilometre from Kos Town centre.
Hotel Features. The Poseidon Hotel is a modern hotel complex with an outdoor swimming pool, a separate children's pool and fitness equipment. Multilingual staff can arrange currency exchange and there Internet access is provided.
The Hotel Poseidon's cocktail bar overlooks the pool, while the poolside snack bar, open daily, serves light meals including burgers, sandwiches and fries. The hotel offers a complimentary buffet breakfast.
The hotel runs weekly evening entertainment including Greek evenings and karaoke/barbecue nights.
Guestrooms. There are 35 guestrooms and apartments built over two floors. Decor is neutral with white painted walls, marble floors and functional, modern furniture. Room amenities include satellite television, tea and coffee making facilities, safes and hair dryers.
Expert Tip. Kos Town may be the place to head for sun, sea and sand, but you can soak up a bit of culture here too. Head to the remains of the Roman baths, where parts of the ancient amphitheatre can still be seen. There is also a 15th century castle, which was built by the Knights of St John to guard the port.

From Kos Hippocrates International Airport (KGS):
Distance to the Poseidon Hotel is 25 kilometres, approximately 30 minutes' drive.
Getting there. The best way to get to the hotel from the airport is by taxi, which costs 30 EUR. Prices are subject to change.
Getting around. Kos has a good bus service connecting the main town with all the major places of interest around the island. Excursion boats run to the various beaches around the coastline. Motorbikes, scooters and bikes can be hired in Kos Town. Cycling is a popular way of getting around as the island is relatively flat and has a good network of cycle paths beyond the town.
