Location. The Carlton Atlantic Coast Hotel is located in the town of Westport, County Mayo, Ireland, overlooking the harbour and Clew Bay. It lies two kilometres from the centre of the town.
Hotel Features. This four storey hotel is housed in a converted 18th century mill which retains its stone fa�ades. As well as a children's swimming pool, there is an evening kids' club. The services of a porter are available, complimentary newspapers are on offer in the lobby, and there is 24 hour room service. Multilingual staff at the 24 hour front desk can provide currency exchange and tour assistance. The public areas have wireless Internet access and complimentary secure parking is available nearby.
Set on the top floor of the hotel, the Blue Wave Restaurant serves regional specialities made using fresh local produce, including locally caught fish and seafood, in a contemporary setting. The restaurant features views across Clew bay. The Harbourmaster Bar & Bistro serves a bar menu and is set by the harbour. A complimentary full Irish breakfast is provided.
Business services are available as are meeting and conference facilities.
Spa facilities include nine treatment rooms, a hydrotherapy bath, and dry floatation tanks; beauty services and massage treatments are available. There is a 17 metre swimming pool, a sauna, a steam room, and fitness equipment.
Guestrooms. The 85 guestrooms have light contemporary decor and modern furnishings, including desks. All are equipped with satellite television with pay movies, dial up and wireless Internet access, and DVD players. Other standard amenities include complimentary newspapers, tea and coffee making facilities, and trouser presses. Complimentary toiletries, hair dryers, bathrobes, and slippers are all provided.
Expert Tip. Westport House, one kilometre from the hotel, is a magnificent country mansion from the 18th century with beautifully landscaped grounds. The walled garden has a mulberry tree said to have been planted in 1690.

Getting there. Guests can take a taxi from the airport to the hotel; the fare should be around 80 EUR.
