Location. The Hotel Corte del Naviglio is located in Milan, Italy, in the Navigli area of the city, which is well known for its bars and restaurants. Porta Genova train station, two kilometres away, offers direct connections to the city centre.
Hotel Features. The summer residence of the Marquess of Barona, The Hotel Corte del Naviglio is a 17th century property set in landscaped gardens. The hotel has banquet facilities and is a popular wedding venue, and complimentary wireless Internet access is available in public areas.
The Ca'Bianca Restaurant and piano bar, offers traditional Italian fare, with three course evening meals. A daily buffet breakfast is complimentary.
There are several small meeting rooms and larger conference spaces at the hotel, which also caters to weddings and family events. Business services are provided on request.
Guestrooms. The 51 air conditioned guestrooms are individually decorated, with floral soft furnishings and primrose yellow walls. All have terracotta flooring, and amenities include satellite television, minibars, and wireless Internet access.
Expert Tip. The Navigli area has been gentrified in recent years. Formerly a rather run down part of the city, it is now one of the trendiest places to go for a night out.

From Milano Linate Airport (LIN): Distance to Hotel Corte del Naviglio is 30 kilometres, approximately 30 minutes' drive.
Getting there. Taxis wait outside arrivals. Alternatively, it is possible to get the train from central Milan to Porta Genova train station. An airport shuttle bus runs every 30 minutes to Milan's Stazione Centrale (central station). The fare is 3 EUR for a single ticket. The number 73 bus leaves every 10 minutes from outside arrivals and runs to San Babila station on Milan's underground metro system. The fare is 1 EUR for a single ticket. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. The city centre is easy to explore on foot, and there are pedestrianised areas around the Duomo. A comprehensive network of trams, buses and four metro lines offers efficient travel throughout the city. Integrated tickets for all modes of public transport can be purchased at newsagents, metro stations, tobacconists, and most coffee bars. Driving is not recommended in Milan's city centre. There are many one way streets, traffic is heavy, and parking is limited. Cars parked illegally are towed or fined.
