Location. Residence Club Cala Rossa, a seaside holiday complex, features Mediterranean style cottages and is located 400 metres from a sandy beach on the northern coast of Sardinia. The Li Golghi Tomb of the Giants is 36 kilometres from the hotel and the traditional town of Arzachena is 40 kilometres away. Olbia Costa Smeralda Airport is 95 kilometres from the hotel, an approximate driving time of 90 minutes.
Hotel Features.The hotel is set in 110 hectares of gardens and there are outdoor and children's swimming pools, three tennis courts and a mini football pitch. There is a kids' club, and evening entertainment for adults includes cabaret. Other practical amenities include a complimentary shuttle service to the beach where canoeing and sailing are available.
Restaurant Cala Rossa features a terrace with views over the swimming pool and serves buffet style Sardinian specialities and international dishes, with daily themed dinners and a special fish buffet. Bar Cala Rossa offers snacks and a wide range of international drinks.
Guestrooms.The 315 guestrooms, over two floors, have simple decor, functional furnishings and patios overlooking the gardens. All are equipped with televisions, telephones, refrigerators, complimentary toiletries, bidets and blackout drapes. Cribs are available on request. The full board room rate incorporates buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner each day.
Expert Tip. Sardinian cuisine is legendary. Try the speciality suckling pig, either cooked on a spit (Porceddu) or cooked in a pit over aromatic wood (A Carraxiu).
