The Grand Hotel Royal is set in an impressive grand turreted building located on the sea front and backing on to the pinewoods of Viareggio, 50 meters from the beach and 25 kilometers from Pisa. The 114 guestrooms are decorated in neutral colors with traditional furnishings; all include minibars, safes, hair dryers and satellite television.
The outdoor swimming pool is surrounded by trees; sunbeds and umbrellas are available, as is a poolside bar. The hotel has a private garden where guests can relax with a drink. The Liberty restaurant serves regional Tuscan and international cuisine and guests can eat on an outdoor terrace during the summer months. Food can also be taken in the guestrooms via the hotel's room service. Numerous water sports are available on the nearby beach and for excursions further afield, the Leaning Tower of Pisa, Square of Miracles and Cathedral Museum are all within 25 kilometers. Pisa Airport is approximately 20 minutes driving time and distance of 25 kilometers.
