Location. Nestled between jungle covered mountains and the Pacific Ocean in the resort town of Nuevo Vallarta, Mexico, stands the Grand Velas All Suites and Spa Resort. Banderas Bay runs adjacent to the property. Flamingos Golf Course sits two kilometers from the resort. Four kilometers from the hotel are the Central Nuevo Vallarta and El Tigre Golf Course. Splash and Mayan Palace Golf Course are five kilometers from the hotel.
Hotel Features. The Grand Velas All Suites and Spa Resort is an extensive collection of villas with winding canals accented by manicured gardens. The lobby features high ceilings, thatched roofs, a fountain and tropical plants. The all inclusive resort serves dishes from four unique restaurants. The restaurants include Mexican dishes, a casual international venue, a gourmet French restaurant and poolside snack bar. The Grand Velas All Suites and Spa Resort features an outdoor infinity pool overlooking the resort's private beach. The health spa showcases massage services, a hydrotherapy area and treatment rooms. Cardiovascular equipment, personal training, fitness classes and tennis courts are available in the fitness facility.
Guestrooms. The 267 guestrooms at the Grand Velas All Suites and Spa Resort feature teak wooden furnishings and neutral colored fabrics accented with tropical colors. Ocean and garden views are provided. Beds include down pillows and comforters. Rooms are equipped with cable television, flat screen televisions, DVD players, CD players and high speed Internet access. Bathrooms include bathrobes, telephones and toiletries from Gilchrist and Soames English Spa Collection.
Expert Tip. The Grand Velas All Suites and Spa Resort features an open air amphitheater where live entertainment, fiestas and music programs are showcased. Three theme nights are provided in the amphitheater, weekly.
