Location. The Copamarina Beach Resort is positioned within the Gu�nica Dry Forest, a UN designated World Biosphere Reserve located on Puerto Rico's southern coast near the town of Gu�nica.
Hotel Features. Las Palmas Caf� features an open air setting and prepares sandwiches, grilled fish, beef tenderloin and pork chops. Alexandra offers seating on their al fresco terrace, and serves taste temptations such as lobster in garlic sauce and red snapper stuffed with lobster and shrimp. Dial up Internet access is available via an office computer. Recreation includes a one half mile beach that fronts the hotel, and two freshwater outdoor pools that lie amid palm shaded, ocean view lawns. An eight person spa tub and a children's pool are located on the sundeck. Leisure moments may be passed listening to live music performed nightly on the terrace. A health spa contains cardio and weight machines and offers treatment options such as aromatherapy and massage. Reiki, yoga and meditation workshops are available.
Guestrooms. This resort features 106 air conditioned guestrooms in five, two story buildings. Featuring natural pine and wicker furniture, tile floors, brightly colored bedspreads, and green and yellow walls, the d�cor and furnishings create casual tropical ambience. Room amenities include satellite television, coffeemakers, safe deposit boxes and refrigerators.
Expert Tip. Scuba divers favor this resort for its dive shop that offers excursions to noteworthy reef sites. The Gu�nica Dry Forest also offers prime hiking and birding opportunities along 14 trails. In addition, Gilligan's Island is a ferryboat ride away and offers a day trip destination for snorkeling, swimming and sunbathing.
